4 Pokemon Heartgold + Pokewalker
It wants to be the very best, but it climbed to fourth position on our review list. Pokemon HeartGold + Pokewalker is an amazing testament to the RPG stylings of Japanese games infused with the childlike wonder that we all get when choosing our favourite Pokemon. Heartgold, I choose you!
3 Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2
The magic number on this list belongs to Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. Now here is one for fans of any age. The intriguing ability options of the six new character classes gives the player something to sink really sink their teeth into and the customisation options are a great reward for for playing outside of your comfort zone.
2 Borderlands Handsome Edition
Just missing the top spot is the handsomest of collections: Borderlands The Handsome Collection. This game is great package for any console-bound Borderlands fan. The fact that it collects every piece of DLC for both games, the majority of which is of very high quality, plus the fact that you can carry your last-gen saves and characters over, makes it a good pickup for returning fans and a great pickup for new ones.

And we saved the best for last with the darkest of souls, a title truly worthy of first place, a brutal and demanding third-person action-RPG set in a world full of monstrous, disturbing things that are trying their hardest to end your life as quickly as possible. A game that I could definitely not recommend for someone who likes to game for fun, but if its a test of skill, patience and dedication you are after, then look no further than the Dark Souls series!
